Terms of service

These terms govern your use of FreelanceOS (the "Service"), provided by PageTech Creative Ltd. By using the Service, you agree to them.

1) The Service

FreelanceOS provides tools to help run freelance work, including jobs, quotes, invoices, expenses, mileage and reports. Features may change over time.

2) Accounts and access

• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including by a collaborator you add.
• You must provide accurate information when using the Service.

3) Your content and data

• You own the content and data you enter.
• You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service, as described in our privacy policy.

4) Details read by AI

Some features use AI to read receipts, emails and files and fill in details for you, such as amounts, dates, hotels and job information. It can make mistakes. Please check anything it adds before you rely on it, especially before sending an invoice or submitting figures to HMRC.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Try to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• Disrupt or interfere with the Service
• Upload malicious code or abuse the platform, including sending spam through the Service

6) Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Availability is not guaranteed, and features may change.

7) Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. FreelanceOS helps you keep records and prepare figures. It is not accounting or tax advice, and it does not submit anything to HMRC for you.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data or business.

9) Termination

We may suspend or end access for breaches of these terms, or for security or legal reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10) Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless local law requires otherwise.

11) Subscription and billing

FreelanceOS is a paid subscription after a 14-day free trial. Prices at the time of publication:

• Monthly plan: £11.99 per month
• Annual plan: £119.99 per year

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can switch between monthly and yearly in Settings at any time: you pay the new plan less a credit for the unused part of the current one. Apart from that credit, no refunds are given for part of a billing period. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in Settings.
